Toyota Hilux Rogue | Premium 10-Inch Pioneer Apple CarPlay Upgrade
Melbourne to Adelaide for the 360 Car Audio Treatment
When a customer travels all the way from Melbourne to Adelaide to have their vehicle upgraded, it is a great reflection of the level of workmanship and attention to detail we provide at 360 Car Audio Pty Ltd.
Tom brought his Toyota Hilux Rogue to our Adelaide workshop for a premium head unit upgrade, choosing the latest Pioneer DMH-AP8850BT 10-inch head unit paired with a custom 10-inch fascia.
The result is a clean, flush-mounted installation that delivers modern connectivity while maintaining the factory appearance and functionality of the vehicle.
Pioneer DMH-AP8850BT 10-Inch Head Unit
The Pioneer DMH-AP8850BT provides a significant technology upgrade over the original factory system, while offering the features expected from a modern premium head unit.
Key features include:
10-inch touchscreen display
Wireless Apple CarPlay
Wireless Android Auto
High-quality Pioneer audio performance
Modern smartphone connectivity
Retention of factory steering wheel controls
Retention of the factory USB connection
Retention of the factory reversing camera
The large 10-inch display provides a much more modern interface and makes navigation, music and smartphone functions easier to access while driving.
Custom 10-Inch Fascia
For this installation, the Pioneer head unit was matched with a 10-inch custom fascia specifically designed to provide a clean and integrated appearance.
Rather than simply installing a screen over the existing dashboard, the fascia allows the Pioneer unit to sit neatly within the factory dash.
The result is a flush, factory-style finish that looks like it belongs in the vehicle from the beginning.
Factory Features Retained
One of the most important aspects of any modern vehicle upgrade is maintaining the features customers already use.
For Tom's Hilux, we retained:
Factory steering wheel controls
Factory USB functionality
Factory reversing camera
This means the vehicle receives the benefits of a modern Pioneer system without sacrificing the important factory features.
Before and After
The difference between the original factory system and the completed installation is immediately noticeable.
The new 10-inch Pioneer display transforms the interior of the Hilux, providing a significantly larger and more modern screen while the custom fascia creates a neat, integrated appearance.
Our installation team takes the time to ensure the screen, fascia and surrounding dashboard all align correctly, with the wiring professionally concealed behind the dash.
Clean installation. Professional finish. Factory-style appearance.
