Bringing Modern Technology Back to the Toyota Fortuner

One of the most common things we hear from Toyota Fortuner owners is that the factory infotainment system simply hasn’t kept up with modern technology. Limited connectivity, outdated interfaces, and no smartphone integration can make the driving experience feel a bit behind the times.

For this upgrade, we installed the Pioneer DMH-A6650BT, a very popular and reliable multimedia system that transforms the way the vehicle interacts with your phone and daily driving needs.

This upgrade introduces Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing the driver to seamlessly connect their smartphone without cables. Navigation apps such as Google Maps and Apple Maps appear directly on the new screen, while music streaming, phone calls, and messages are all safely accessible through the display and voice control.

One of the key priorities with this installation was maintaining the vehicle’s original functionality. We retained the factory reversing camera and steering wheel controls, ensuring that the Fortuner continues to operate just as it did from the factory, only now with a far more modern and responsive system.

To make the setup even more practical, we also added a USB fast-charging and data port. This gives the driver flexibility to use wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto if preferred, while also allowing direct USB media playback and faster phone charging on longer drives. (  EXTRA FEE ) 

The result is a clean, factory-style installation that integrates beautifully into the dashboard while dramatically improving usability, connectivity, and convenience. It’s a simple upgrade that makes a huge difference to everyday driving, especially for owners who rely on navigation, streaming, and hands-free communication.
