Hyundai Veloster Turbo – 9-Inch Pioneer Apple CarPlay Upgrade with Full Factory Integration
Rare Vehicle. Exceptional Upgrade. Factory Integration at Its Best.
Every now and then, a vehicle comes through our workshop that is a little different from the usual. This immaculate Hyundai Veloster Turbo is certainly one of them!
At 360 Car Audio, we specialise in professional Apple CarPlay and Android Auto upgrades, particularly when it comes to retaining original factory features and achieving seamless integration with the vehicle's existing technology.
For this Veloster Turbo, we installed a premium 9-inch Pioneer with wireless Carplay and Andriod auto multimedia head unit, incorporating a custom integration solution to retain the vehicle's important factory functions.
The result? A modern infotainment upgrade that looks right at home while keeping the original Hyundai technology working.
The Upgrade – 9-Inch Pioneer Multimedia System
The installation featured:
9-inch Pioneer DMH-AP6850BT multimedia head unit.
Factory Hyundai amplifier retained and integrated.
Original factory steering wheel controls fully retained.
Factory reversing camera retained and operational.
Factory digital climate control information displayed directly on the new Pioneer screen.
Custom 360 SMARTLINK integration interface.
Professionally designed custom integration harnesses.
Retaining the Original Hyundai Features
Modernising your vehicle's infotainment system shouldn't mean losing the features you already enjoy.
With our custom integration solution, we retained the important original equipment functions, including:
Factory amplifier and audio system integration.
Original steering wheel audio controls.
Factory reversing camera functionality.
Digital climate control display integration.
Everything was carefully integrated to provide a clean, professional installation while maintaining the vehicle's original functionality.
Factory Digital Climate Control Integration – A Special Feature
One of the standout features of this installation is the integration of the Hyundai's original digital climate control display directly into the new Pioneer touchscreen.
This is a particularly impressive feature on the Veloster Turbo and demonstrates the level of specialist integration required to achieve a factory-style result.
Rather than sacrificing original vehicle functionality when upgrading the entertainment system, we developed a solution that allows the original climate control information to be displayed through the new Pioneer multimedia interface.
It is this attention to detail that separates a standard head unit installation from a specialist factory integration upgrade.
Professional Installation and Custom Integration
At 360 Car Audio, we understand that vehicles with unique factory systems require more than a simple plug-and-play head unit installation.
Our experience with complex CarPlay and Android Auto integration allows us to develop solutions for vehicles where retaining factory features is essential.
We take pride in our custom wiring, professional installation techniques and attention to detail, ensuring the finished result looks and operates as it should.
